13 Haryana cops including DGP Sinha get President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service

On the eve of Independence Day, Haryana’s 13 Police officers and officials have been selected for President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
While giving this information here today, a spokesperson of the Haryana Police Department said that Dr BK Sinha, DGP and Commandant General, Home Guards and Director Civil Defence, Haryana and Subhash Chander, Sub-Inspector Panchkula awarded with the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service whereas 11 others decorated with Police Medal for Meritorious service. 
          
Those who have been decorated with Police Medal for Meritorious Service include Veer Singh, DSP, Pataudi, Gurugram, Om Parkash, DSP Panchkula, Anil Kumar, Inspector Madhuban, Karnal, Sarwan Kumar, Inspector, Panchkula, Vikas, Inspector, Ambala Cantt, Laly Varghese, Lady Inspector, Gurugram, Parkash Chand, Sub-Inspector, Faridabad, Varinder Kumar, Sub-Inspector, State Vigilance Bureau, Panchkula, Ram Partap, Exemptee Sub-Inspector, Panchkula, Suman Kumar, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Panchkula, Ravinder Kumar, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Gurugram.
          
The Director General of Police, Manoj Yadava congratulated all the police officers and officials who have been decorated with Police Medals on the occasion of Independence Day.  It is a great honour for the entire Police force. The recognition of their tireless and relentless efforts at national level would go a long way to further boost their morale as well as of others in state police force, added the DGP.
