Haryana to impart skills artists, stage announcers, state to witness first of its kind workshop

For providing the necessary skills of stage announcer to the artists of Haryana, state’s Art and Cultural Affairs Department has decided to organise a three-day workshop, where about 200 participants from the state will be imparted training and knowledge of conducting the stage in three languages Hindi, Haryanavi and English.

The workshop will be organised from June 11 to 13, at Multi Art Cultural Center of Kurukshetra.  

An official spokesperson informed that such kind of workshop is being orgainsed for the first time in the state. 
The spokesperson said that the details of this workshop were chalked out in the meeting chaired by Additional Chief Secretary, Art and Cultural Affairs, Dheera Khandelwal. 

He said that the participants who have applied for participation in the workshop would be imparted necessary skills and taught technical details required for becoming a stage announcer by reputed persons of this field.  

He said that a list of those participants who will perform excellently would be prepared and they will be given the task of the Announcers during various government programmes organised in different districts of the state.

As a specialist, the famous broadcaster, commentator and anchor of Akashvani Jainendra Singh, famous stage comparer Ram Niwas, TV anchor Sonal Dahiya and Jitender Ram Parkash will teach the participants skills to become stage announcer,  he added.
