Capt Abhimanyu hails Centre’s decision on 10 pc reservation to general category, calls it a step towards social equality

Welcoming the decision of Narendra Modi-led government at Centre for providing 10 per cent reservation to people belonging to general category in jobs and educational institutions, Haryana Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu said that after 70 years of independence of the country, the expectations of constitution makers has been fulfilled to provide social and economic justice to all.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Abhimanyu described it as a historical decision. He described this initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as historical decision to bring social equality.

Questioning on the written communication of Member of Parliament from Rohtak, Deepender Singh Hooda to the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar regarding resumption of employees’ pension, the Finance Minister said, “Why had he not suggested  the same when his father had implemented the new pension scheme?”

He said that the opposition has no issue to raise. Be it the Congress Party, the INLD, AAM Party, newly constituted JJP Party or any other party. The BJP Party works with the clear intention of serving people and it became clear in the elections held recently to five Municipal Corporations, he added.

The minister further stated said that it was clear that BJP would form government at the Centre and in Haryana in 2019 elections. The opposition will strive only to bag the second position in 2019 elections to save its existence, he added.
