After the Congress hit out at Manohar Lal Khattar government for the murder of party’s spokesperson Vikas Chaudhary in Faridabad, the Haryana police has come out with a sensational revelation about the deceased Congress leader disclosing that Chaudhary’s murder appears to be connected to his own criminal background.

A tweet from Haryana Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Law & Order, Navdeep Singh Virk states that as per the leads so far Vikas Chaudhary had a criminal background and 13 FIRs of extortion, kidnapping, attempt to murder etc were registered against him since 2007 in Haryana and UP.

The tweets further says that his (Chaudhary’s) murder appears to be connected to his own criminal background.

The senior cop through his tweet further says that severe police teams have been deployed to crack the case and Faridabad Police is confident of detecting it soon. CP Faridabad is personally supervising the investigation.

The revelation from the police came after the Congress has alleged that the Haryana government had failed to maintain law & order in the state.

Notably, following the said murder, Congress came down heavily on Manohar Lal Khattar-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Haryana for the alleged deteriorating law & Order in the state.

Congress leaders including former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda, party’s Chief Spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala and Haryana unit chief Ashok Tanwar have hit out at Khattar government for the said murder and other alleged crime incidents in the state.
