Drug free Haryana: policeman aims to conquer highest African peak

In order to spread the message making Haryana a drug-free state and to promote adventure sports, Haryana Police’s Sub-Inspector Ram Lal Sharma, will be travelling to Africa to climb the highest peak of Mount Kilimanjaro’s.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar gave best wishes to the policeman Ram Lal Sharma from his official residence Sant Kabir Kutir in Sector-3 here on Monday.

The Chief Minister also gave him the national flag, and the banner of Drug Free Haryana Campaign and expressed good wishes on behalf of the Haryana government and the citizens for the summit.

It is noteworthy that Sub-Inspector Sharma has till now successfully climbed Mount Everest, Mount Elbrus, the highest peak of the European continent, Island Peak of Nepal and has also made a world record for cycling on the sea.
