Haryana Police seize 15K tablets of banned medicines, two held

Haryana Police on Wednesday have seized 15,000 banned medicines and arrested two persons who were in possession of the drugs in Fatehabad district.

 

Giving this information here on Wednesday, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that during routine checking, a police team near Dharsool Kalan signaled a swift car to stop for checking. When searched, the team recovered 15,000 tablets fallen under the category of prohibited drugs from the vehicle.

 

The arrested accused were identified as Kuldeep Singh alias Nanu and Kuldeep Singh, both residents of Jakhal Mandi.

 

Both have been booked under relevant sections of NDPS Act and further investigation of the case is underway.

 

It is worthwhile to mention that Police on September 25 have arrested five persons in Fatehabad after it recovered 32,710 intoxicating tablets from their possession.
