Haryana police STF apprehends notorious criminal

In a major break-through, the Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police has succeeded in apprehending Pawan alias Totla, a sharp shooter and notorious criminal of Raju Basaudi and Lawrence Bishnoi gang, from village Bohar of district Rohtak.

The gangster had emerged as a major challenge for Haryana Police and was wanted in many cases of Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan & Punjab.

Even, the Haryana Police had also announced a reward of Rs Two Lakh on his arrest.

During this year, this notorious gangster had murdered a school bus driver namely Jagbir. A case in this regard was registered in Sonipat and thereafter, the main witness of above case and son of deceased Jagbir namely Anil was murdered by him in broad daylight.

A spokesperson of Haryana police told that the STF had received a secret and concrete information that gangster Pawan alias Totla would visit village Bohar in Rohtak.  On the basis of this secret information, the STF team led by Inspector Sandeep acted instantly and managed to apprehend the said gangster near the flyover on bypass of village Bohar.  This gangster is being interrogated thoroughly by the STF with the objective of obtaining vital information from him regarding various other criminal cases.

This gangster had created a lot of terror in the area and was wanted in 11 cases of murder, two cases of attempt to murder and 20 cases of robbery and dacoity. The said gangster shall be produced before the Court for obtaining police remand so that other cases could also be unveiled.

This arrest of Pawan alias Totla is considered as a big achievement for the STF of Haryana Police. The STF is committed towards ensuring the safety and security of the general public and creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquility through concerted efforts against organized crime and most wanted criminals or gangsters in this area, the spokesperson added.
