Haryana’s MSME Dept to encourage toy industries

Haryana’s Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) Department will help in promoting the toy industries of the state, whereby the artisans of the state will get an opportunity to showcase their skills, while their financial status will also improve.

 

Haryana Deputy Chief Mnister Dushyant Chautala said this at the concluding day of India’s first ‘Toy Fair-2021’.

 

Chautala who also holds the portfolio of the Industries and Commerce Department, further stated that with the help of the MSME Department every small toy-maker and artisan living across the state would be benefitted.

 

He said that till now toy industries in Bahadurgarh, Sonipat and Manesar which mainly manufacture toys from wood, clay, leather, stuffed, cloth etc., however, he wished that this ‘Toy Fair-2021’ would help establishing toy industries in other parts of the state as well. This fair is an important step towards India becoming self-reliant, he added.

 

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, inaugurated India’s first ‘Toy Fair-2021’ virtually on 27 February due to COVID-19. Around 1,000 toy-makers from 10 states displayed their own toys at this four-day fair.
